L’Oréal Paris Welcomes Thuso Mbedu as Brand Ambassador

Mbedu will be a spokesperson for the beauty brand in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

L’Oréal Paris has named South African actress Thuso Mbedu as a new brand ambassador and spokesperson for the brand in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
 
Mbedo rose to prominence for her performance in the South African teen drama series Is’Thunzi for which she was nominated consecutively for an International Emmy in 2017 and 2018. Mbedu later appeared on the 2018 Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list.
 
Most recently, she appeared in The Underground Railroad (2021) and The Woman King (2022).
 
In addition to her successful international acting career, Mbedu is passionate about empowering women and girls by providing them with educational resources alongside the non-profit organization Save The Children.
 
“Together, we look forward to inspiring and uplifting individuals of all backgrounds to embrace their beauty, celebrate diversity and foster self-confidence,” L’Oréal Paris said on Instagram. “Welcome to the L’Oréal Paris Family, Thuso!”
